BME680 Temperature, Humidity, Pressure & Gas Sensor
The BME680 is a compact environmental sensor that combines temperature, humidity, barometric pressure and gas sensing in a single device. Its integrated gas sensor can be used to estimate indoor air quality and detect changes in volatile organic compounds (VOCs), making it particularly useful for smart environmental monitoring applications.
The sensor communicates digitally through I2C or SPI, allowing it to be easily integrated with development boards such as Arduino, ESP32 and Raspberry Pi. Temperature, humidity and pressure measurements can also be used for environmental monitoring, weather applications and altitude estimation.
With multiple sensing functions in one compact package, the BME680 is well suited to weather stations, indoor air-quality monitors, smart-home devices, IoT systems, HVAC monitoring and portable environmental instruments.
