WCS1800 Hall-Effect Current Sensor
The WCS1800 is a Hall-effect current sensor designed to measure electrical current without requiring a direct electrical connection between the sensing circuit and the measurement output. Current flowing through the sensor produces a magnetic field, which is detected by the Hall-effect sensing element and converted into an analog voltage signal.
The analog output can be connected to an ADC input on a microcontroller such as an Arduino or ESP32, allowing the measured current to be monitored and processed in software. The sensor is useful for applications where electrical isolation and non-invasive current measurement are required.
The WCS1800 can be used in motor-control systems, battery and power monitoring, electronic load measurement, power supplies, automation equipment and other embedded projects requiring current feedback.
